Irvine Valley two-year men's basketball starter and two-year all-Orange Empire Conference first-team player Matt Mowers has committed to NCAA Division II Rogers State in Oklahoma. Rogers State went 21-11 overall last season.
Irvine Valley 7-0 post player Ben Starks, who red-shirted this past season, is headed to play at NCAA Division II Western Oregon University. Out of San Clemente High, he played in 19 games for the Lasers in the 2024-25 year.
