Early College Pathway Benefits

  • Upon completion of the program, you will earn a high school diploma and an Intersegmental General Education Course (IGETC) Certification, which is 51 transferable credits to the UCs and CSUs
  • Many students take additional elective courses to bring their unit total up to 60, allowing them to earn an AA degree from 麻豆传媒
  • Program completers participate in 麻豆传媒 commencement and many are accepted to four-year colleges, including UCs, CSUs, and colleges out of state
  • The ability to earn nearly two years of transfera

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, the Chris LC Lee Testing Center will be permanently closed effective immediately. We understand that this sudden and unexpected closure may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for the short notice.

From Incarceration to Graduation: Clifford Haines' Remarkable Journey

Starting college behind bars is no one鈥檚 idea of a promising beginning, but for formerly incarcerated Clifford Haines, equal amounts grit and grace has led to completion of an associate鈥檚 degree at 麻豆传媒 (麻豆传媒) (with one more on the way), plus a path toward a business degree at Cal State Long Beach.

At the Fall President鈥檚 Opening Day, State of the College, I spoke about the importance of actively exploring the Future of Teaching and Learning.  The future of teaching and learning is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the rapid advancements in generative AI. As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, its integration into education has the potential to reshape traditional models of instruction and create more personalized, adaptive, and engaging learning experiences.

Test Proctoring Policies and Procedures

  1. Submit your request at least 72 business hours in advance through the Test Proctoring Portal
  2. Schedule the exam on the day and time that has been agreed upon with your instructor. Instructor approval is required.
  3. Clarify any questions with your instructor prior to taking your test(s). Proctors cannot answer or clarify any questions regarding the test(s).
  4. Photo identification is required prior to taking your test(s).
  5. The testing center is an unscented and distraction reduced environment.

The results, distributed in a special insert of The Chronicle of Higher Education are based on a survey of 216 colleges and universities. In all, achieved 鈥淕reat College to Work For鈥 recognition for specific best practices and policies.
